Welcome to Analog Negative Catalogs! Welcome to a forum built around the practical work of cataloging analog negatives, from scan prep to folder hierarchies. Feel free to ask questions, compare naming schemes, or describe how you keep a collection findable. Every approach to organizing film is worth discussing here.

With Brucker, Tankard once again consciously questions conventions — particularly the idea that a typeface requires consistency. Like watching a performer on a tightrope, or a live improvised show: there are moments where the performance almost falters, and the whole thing seems dangerously close to falling apart, but it somehow doesn’t, and that’s thrilling, and you can’t look away.
